Mrs. Ollie A. Golden of Enterprise, Alabama, passed away Wednesday, November 16, 2022.  She was 88 years old.                   

Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, November 28, 2022, at Fort Mitchell National Cemetery in Phenix City, Alabama, with Reverend Jim Duhaime officiating. 

Mrs. Golden was born on August 22, 1934, to the late Hairm L. and Eulla Patterson Doolin.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Golden; daughter, Sharon Golden; sisters, Hazel and Mary; and brother, Finnis.  She was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church. 

Survivors include her children, Glenn Golden (Renee) of Montgomery, Alabama, David Golden of Villa Rica, Georgia, Lisa Smith (Demetrius) of Clayton, North Carolina, and Sue Ann Hallinger (Curt) of Clayton, North Carolina; grandchildren, Katherine Golden, Kyle Golden, Zachary Golden, De’Andre Smith (Sabrina), Demetrius Smith, Jr., Emma Hallinger, Anton Hallinger, and Ava Hallinger; great-grandchildren, Isaiah Smith, Isabella Smith, and Jonah Smith; brother, Jimmy; and sister, Fern. 

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to the Enterprise Lion’s Club Wounded Warrior Retreat by the Lake, P.O. Box 310598, Enterprise, Alabama, 36330.
