Oral Sherrell Cooper of Elba passed away Tuesday, February 22, 2022.  He was 64.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 24, 2022 at Sorrells Funeral Home in Enterprise with Reverend Rinnie Evans officiating.  Burial will follow at Consolation Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, February 23, 2022 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Oral was born November 23, 1957 in Enterprise, Alabama to the late Roscoe and Lou Jean Cooper.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by siblings, Daniel Roscoe Cooper, Maggie Lou Jean Cooper, Houston Cooper, Billy Ray Cooper and Jimmy Chester Cooper.

Survivors include his fiancée, Loretta Spainhoward; brothers, David Cooper (Jean) and Melvin Cooper (Tracey); sisters, Betty Jean Andrews and Ester Marie Sutley (Rickey); and several nieces and nephews.
