Parecia Taylor, a resident of Andalusia, passed away on Sunday, December 12, 2021 at a local hospital. She was 62 years old.
Parecia was born on August 2, 1959 to John and MaryLee Howard. She graduated from Lurleen B. Wallace Community College and later attended Troy University. Parecia worked for Shaw Industries for more than 30 years as a Color Analyst in their lab. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Andalusia where she enjoyed singing in the choir. Parecia was known for being a selfless and loving wife, daughter, sister, and aunt. She enjoyed going on trips to the mountains with her husband and spending time with her fur babies.
Parecia is preceded in death by her father, John Howard, and her sister, Sallie Gray.
She is survived by her loving husband of 28 years, Jerry Taylor; her mother, MaryLee Howard; her sisters, Jacquelyn (Lane) Dykes and Sueanna Howard; her nieces and nephews, John Conner Dykes, Myles Gray, Stacie Dykes, and Chad Dykes; and her beloved pets, Andy, Squeaky, Princess.
