Mrs. Patricia Ann “Patsy” Housley of Geneva passed away on Monday, January 3, 2022. She was 77 years old.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, January 06, 2022 with burial to follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens in Geneva with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday beginning at 1 p.m.  

Patsy was born on February 27, 1944 to the late Edward L. Mount and Mellie Ruth Owens. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Patsy was an RN for many years at Wiregrass Medical Center where she gave excellent care to her patients and their families. Nursing was her true “calling” in life.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Terry Moore Merrow and a brother, Robert Earl Owens.  

She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 50 years, Elton Housley of Geneva; one son, Tony Moore of Foley, AL; one grandson, Michael Moore of Geneva, AL; one granddaughter, Megan Merrow of Texas; and four great grandchildren.
