Mrs. Patricia Ann Walker Tomberlin of Geneva, AL passed away on April 4, 2024, at her home surrounded by loved ones. She was 80.

There will be no services.

Mrs. Pat was born on July 30, 1949, in Winchester, TN to the late Evelyn Potts Walker.

In loving memory of a selfless soul, she dedicated her life to her cherished family, always ready to lend a helping hand at a moment’s notice. Known for her boundless generosity, she exemplified compassion, often giving beyond her means to support others. Her love for the beach, shopping, and enjoying shows and movies brought joy to her life. A true adventurer, she once cherished motorcycle rides with a fiery spirit. Affectionately nicknamed ‘Shrimp’ by her brother Nelson, she fearlessly held her own among the boys. Through her life’s journey, she also served as a beloved pianist at Rainbow Meadows Baptist Church, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and devotion.

She was preceded in death by her parents Evelyn and Charles Walker.

Patricia is survived by her loving husband, Warren Tomberlin of Geneva, AL ; daughter, Cheri Hughes (John) of Geneva, AL; son, David Malone (Amanda) of Brazelton, GA; stepchildren, Andy Tomberlin (Sheena) of Dothan, AL, Nathan Tomberlin (Courtney) of Decatur, AL, and Lacey Tomberlin; her brother, Nelson Walker (Betty) of Centreville, AL; granddaughters, Kerri Pylant (Justin) of Saint Petersburg, FL, Kaylee Casey (Tommy) of Freeport, FL, Kendall Hidle (Colby) of Geneva, AL; grandsons, Brent Malone (Katie) of Waynesboro, PA, Tatum and Tyler Malone of Brazelton, GA, William and Willow Tomberlin of Decatur, AL, Collin, Drew, Maddox, and Bryant Tomberlin of Dothan, AL; her great grandchildren, Brody and Bentley Casey, Jack Parker, Evie Claire, and Will Anders Hidle, Levi, Avery, and Makenzie Malone; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

The family would like to express a sincere “Thank You” to a special friend and caregiver, Cathryn Jones. You’ve been a blessing to our family.
