Patricia George Holmes

Patricia G. Holmes, a resident of Southport, FL., but living in Dothan after being displaced as the result of Hurricane Michael, died Thursday morning May 9, 2019 in a local hospital under the care of Covenant Hospice.

Celebration of Life services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday May 25, 2019 at Kingdom Life Ministries 306 Spikes Road Southport, FL 32409 according to Family First Funeral & Cremation Care.

Patricia was born February 15, 1952 in Tifton, GA., daughter of the late Howard Drudie George and Willie Pearl Wilkes George.  She had lived most of her life in Florida and retired after a successful career as a medical transcriptionist.  She was of the Pentecostal Faith.  Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Robert Williams Holmes and a sister Linda George.

Survivors include her son David Holmes (Ashley) of Wicksburg, a sister Ellen George of Southport, FL., a brother Jerry George of Zebulon, GA., 2 grandsons Cody Holmes and Austin Holmes, 2 nieces, cousins and an uncle.

The family would like to express their appreciation to Covenant Hospice and to the MICU 5 nurses and staff at Flowers Hospital who provided excellent care and compassion to Patricia.

Care for the Holmes family is being provided by Randy Crenshaw, Jason Shepard and the Family First Staff.
