Patricia W. Mixson of New Brockton, AL passed away, Monday, September 23, 2019 at her home.  She was 78.

The family will receive friends at Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM.  A private graveside service will be held at Old Tabernacle Cemetery. 

Mrs. Mixson was preceded in death by her husband, Don K. Mixson; her parents, J. C. and Mae Wright; and sister and brother-in-law, Yvonne W. and Jim DeLettre.

Survivors include her daughter, Donna Simmons; son, Eddie Mixson (Sharon); 3 grandchildren, Hannah Mixson, Tyler Simmons (Rena), Luke Simmons (Megan); 4 great-grandchildren, Jon, Reeves, Jud, and Walker; sister, Sarah W. Duffield (Bob); 2 brothers, Wilburn Wright, Wayne Wright (Karen).

A special thanks for the loving care to our mother by Jennie Wambles and Judy Bundy, and also Kindred Hospice.
