Patrick L. Merritt, age 53, of Enterprise, AL, passed away, Tuesday, June 25, 2019 in Flowers Hospital, Dothan, AL.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Friday, June 28, 2019 at Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel with Pastor Calvin Malone officiating. Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 4:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: The Manna House, 5730 Shellfield Road, Enterprise, AL 36330, or a charity of your choice.
Patrick was a devoted and loving husband, father and a proud Poppie. His greatest joy was spending time with his family. He was a Master Electrician and enjoyed his Dothan work family. He was instrumental in Gulf Coast Jam and loved them like family. He enjoyed playing golf and spending time with his friends.
Patrick was preceded in death by his father, Charles Merritt.
Survivors include his wife, Tammy Merritt, Enterprise, AL; daughter, Casie Hagen, San Antonio, TX; son, Ryan Hagen, Mobile, AL; grandchildren, Christian, Tristan, and Abigail; his mother, Patricia Merritt, Fulton, NY; his siblings, Melissa Bricker (John) Fulton, NY; Melinda Merritt, Richmond, VA; Charles Merritt, Fulton, NY; Marybeth Hammond (Daniel) Cohocton, NY; Mark Merritt, Fulton, NY.
