Patsy Sanchez, age 87 of Midland City passed away Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at Dale Medical Center.  

Patsy was born June 25, 1936 in Miami, Florida to John Franklin Herring and Okie Fritz Ballinger Herring.  She worked as a Hotel Housekeeping Supervisor for many years.  She was a loving wife, mom and grandmother.  She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and was known by many names ranging from abuela, Memaw to Granny.  She liked to watch TV to include game and religious shows.  She also enjoyed dancing, working in her yard.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 33 years Rurico Juan “Rudy” Sanchez; son Douglas Ruick Sanchez; daughter Sharon Marie Rojas; brother Buddy Herring; sisters Dorothy Thompson, Pauline Flockhart, Betty Campbell.

Survivors include her sons Kenneth Charles Sanchez (Vivian), Steven Blain Sanchez (Sandy); daughters Pam Ramsey (Kevin), Madeline Bidwell, Paula Wright, 16 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
