PATSY KIRKLAND BAYNE

HEADLAND…Patsy Kirkland Bayne, a resident of Headland, Alabama, passed away Tuesday morning, August 17, 2021, at a Dothan Hospital. She was 68.

            A memorial service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, August 19, 2021 at Wright Funeral Home & Crematory Chapel with Pastor Ricky Sowell officiating. Due to the rise in Covid-19 cases, the family wishes for no visitation. The family requests that you come by at any time until the service to sign the register and leave your condolences. Wright Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.

            Flowers will be accepted or contributions can be made in honor of Patsy, to your favorite charity.

            Ms. Bayne was born in Headland, Alabama and lived her entire life there. Patsy was a 1972 graduate of Headland High School. She was a member of the First Baptist Church – Headland. She worked as a teacher’s aid at Headland Elementary School for several years, before medically retiring.

            Ms. Bayne was preceded in death by her parents, Austin Kirkland and Mildred Deese; her grandparents, Clarence and Callie Kirkland; her aunt, Eunice Summerett Savelle; and the father of her children, Kenneth Bayne.

            Leaving to cherish her memories are her daughters, Mandy Williams and Katie Parker (William); her grandsons, Will Parker and Mason Williams, all of Headland, AL; a special aunt, Myrtlene Williamson of Eufaula, AL; and a special cousin, Diane Money of Abbeville, AL.
