Mrs. Patsy R. Gant of High Springs, Florida, died Saturday, January 22, 2022, at the Haven-E.T. York Hospice Care Center in Gainesville, Florida after a long struggle with Alzheimer’s Disease. She was 95 years old.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. (Noon), Friday, February 4, 2022, at Enon Church of Christ, 1366 Enon Road, Webb, AL,  36376, with Preacher Samuel Walker officiating. It will be preceded by a viewing at the Church starting at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Enon Church of Christ Cemetery under the direction of Ward Wilson Funeral Home.

The family will be receiving friends at the Church after the Internment.

Mrs. Gant was born January 8, 1927, in Cooper, Oklahoma, the daughter of the late Adrian Coy (AC) Miller and the late Neva Onetta Weeks. She was a long-time member of the Enon Church of Christ. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great grandmother. Mrs. Gant was a volunteer worker at the Southeast Health Medical Center for over 30-years. She liked to read a lot and do crossword puzzles. She did the Church’s newsletter for many years even though she didn’t know how to use a computer. She also liked to write poems. Although she never worked for a wage after she got married, she was a very intelligent individual.

She is preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers and her husband.

Survivors include her daughter, Sandra Penn and her husband, Paul of St. Cloud, FL; sons, Bruce Gant of Titusville, FL; Tim Gant and his wife, Lisa of Micanopy, FL; grandchildren, Dawn Edder, Tifton, GA; Vincent Pramuk, Titusville, FL; Jerrod Penn, Baton Rouge,  LA; Elizabeth Chrisman, Longmont, CO; Erin Stinnett, Arvada, CO; Travis Gant, Provo, UT; Jared Gant, Greeley,  CO; Garrett Gant, Micanopy, FL; 9 great-grandch0ildren, and 2 great-great grandchild.

Pallbearers will be her 4 grandsons, a great grandson and a great-great grandson.
