Mr. Paul Gregory “Greg” Creech of Geneva, AL passed away Tuesday, August 22, 2023. He was 56 years old.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, August 26, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home in Geneva, AL with Rev. Red Coleman officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday beginning at 1:00 p.m.

Greg was born in Leesburg, FL on September 15, 1966, to the late James Earl and Erma Jo Penley Creech. Greg proudly served with the Geneva Volunteer Fire Department for 30 years. He loved his family very much and it didn’t take you long to realize that if you had a conversation with him. Whether he was talking about Dylan playing college football or Kayla’s nursing career, he was so proud of their accomplishments.  

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his father and mother-in-law, Junior and Evelyn Farris; two brothers-in-law, James Farris, and Cliff Hawthorne.

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 33 years, Linda Ann Creech of Geneva, AL; one daughter, Kayla Creech Mathis (Zach Hahn) of Geneva, AL; one son, Dylan Gregory Creech of Montgomery, AL; two grandchildren, Casen And Calli Mathis of Geneva, AL; three brothers, James Darrell Creech (Joe), Daniel “Brudie” Creech, and Shawn Creech; sister-in-law, Brenda Hawthorne of Geneva, AL; “Fur Baby”, Tucker; and a special uncle, several aunts, nieces, nephews, and friends.
