Paul McClenny

Paul McClenny, a resident of Headland, AL passed away on Sunday, October 17, 2021 at a local hospital. He was 84.

Paul was born in Newville, AL to the late Curtis and Kate McClenny. At the age of 14, Paul took on the responsibility of working and caring for his family. Because he had to take on such a responsibility at a young age, he became a very humble, hardworking, and loving family man. He was known for having a servant’s heart and would help anyone in need. Paul enjoyed gardening with his wife and watching Alabama football and old westerns.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 57 years, Gloria Vondell McClenny; his son-in-law, Danny Faulkner; his siblings, Jimmy, Billy, Peggy, Martha and Tommy; and his brother-in-law, Derel Kelly.

Survivors include his daughters, Paula (Bruce) Downs and Pam Faulkner; his granddaughters, Megan (Andrew) Gray, Emily Downs and Jaylee Faulkner; his great-granddaughter, Charlotte Gray; his soon to be great-grandson in January; his brother, Bob McClenny; his sisters, Sara (Billy) Casey and Charlotte Dean; his special sister-in-law, Patsy (Jim) Murrey; his sister-in-law, Lena (Norman) McDaniel; and several nieces and nephews.
