Paul Taylor, Sr. of Ozark, Alabama passed away on Thursday, November 11, 2021.  He was 75.


Burial will be at Westview Memorial Cemetery in Ozark.


Paul was born in Maryland on June 11, 1946 to the late John V. and Emalyn Taylor, Sr.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers, John V. Taylor, Jr. and Jimmie Taylor; and special aunt, Irma Little.  Paul was a professional dental salesman for over 40 years.  He served several dental offices in the Georgia, Florida, and Alabama areas.  The main company he worked for was Patterson Dental until his retirement. 


Paul lived life to the fullest.  He was an animated story-teller who could get a laugh out of anyone.  He was a Christian man, and in his spare time he enjoyed making Damascus steel knives, old Western movies, Alabama football.  Paul was an avid gun enthusiast. 


He is survived by his children, Paul F. Taylor, Jr. of Ozark, Matthew Taylor (Veronica) of Troy, and Faith Mitchell (Walter “Buddy”) of Enterprise; sister, Vera Taylor of Plant City, Florida; brother, Gilbert Taylor (Mary) of Catonsville, Maryland; grandchildren, Alyssa Taylor, Krysta Davis, Amber King, Keri Furr, and Sabrina Taylor; and five great-grandchildren.
