Miss Polly Rhodes, 85, a resident of Ozark, AL, died on Sunday, January 17, 2016 at her residence.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, January 22, 2016 at Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home with Dr. Leon Estep officiating. Burial will follow is Westview Cemetery with Fuqua-Bankston directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 – 8:00 pm Thursday, January 21, 2016.

"Miss Polly" was born on Thursday, November 6, 1930 in Gamaliel, AR to Commodore and Ila Parks.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Roland (RL) Rhodes; her parents; two daughters in law, Kay Burgess Rhodes and Norma Rhodes; and a grandson, Sidney Dyson.

She is survived by four sons, Roland “Sam” Rhodes (Tammie), Robert “Bob” Rhodes, Raoul “Bo” Rhodes, and Paul Rhodes; a daughter, Alicia Galland (Roland); Eight grandsons, Douglas Brown, Michael Galland, Christopher Rhodes, Zach Rhodes, SSG (P) Brandon Rhodes (Ashley), Shaun Sullivan, Andrew Rhodes, and Dustin Rhodes; three granddaughters, Brittany Rhodes, April Brown Little, and Erin Galland; three great grandchildren, Alexia Marie Little, Hayden Dyson, and Alex Dyson; her sister, Norma Stewart; her brother, Earnest Muier (Barbara); an aunt, Bonnie Ellison; numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and special friends to the family Cheryl Ioakimidis, Pat Newcombe, Jean Woodham, Stephanie and Phillip Duncan, and the Church of Christ Family.
