Peggy Gail Baker, of Enterprise, AL, passed away Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at her home.  She was 88.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, October 13, 2023 at St. Luke United Methodist Church with Dr. Olivia Poole officiating.  Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery with Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory directing.  The family will receive friends beginning at 1:00 P.M. until service time.  Flowers will be accepted or memorial donations may be made to Gentiva Hospice (1032 Boll Weevil Circle, Suite D, Enterprise, AL 36330).

Peggy was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years John Baker, parents Robert and Laura Poole, brother Robert Poole and great-grandson Caden Sullivant.

Survivors include her two sons, Robert Baker (Lora), Dunn, NC; John Baker (Kim), Enterprise, AL; three daughters, Janet McCrummen (Mickey), Enterprise, AL; Elizabeth Stokes (Earl), Enterprise, AL; Lynn Borish (Tom), Clarksville, TN; twelve grandchildren, Michelle, Brad, Chris, Mitchell, Robert, Dale, Amanda, Justin, Katie, Brian, Matt and Lauren; twelve great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Hayes, Avery, Brooks, Everest, Caroline, Logan, Paislei, Bailey, Brody, Adelynn and Everly; two great-great-grandchildren, Ashton and Owen.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Shelby Galloway and Shannika Baxter with Gentiva Hospice for their compassionate care.
