Peggy Joyce Taylor of Geneva, AL passed away on Thursday, October 22, 2020. She was 75 years old.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home in Geneva with Rev. Michael Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Eunola City Cemetery with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday beginning at 2:00 p.m.

Joyce was born on April 8, 1945 in Geneva, Alabama to the late M.S. and Thelma Pert. She was a loving and devoted mother, wife, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister. She attended Geneva Church of God and was a faithful servant.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Pamela Kay Taylor Wagnon; parents, Sonny and Thelma Pert; and one sister, Linda Davis.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years,  Larry Dean Taylor of Geneva, AL; son, James Taylor (Rachel) of Geneva, AL; four grandchildren, Dalton Wagnon, Amy Dixon (Cobie), Brianna Taylor and Stephanie Taylor all of Geneva, AL; four great-grandchildren, Braylee, Savanna, Bella, and Sterling;  two sisters, Shirley Pert Wasson and Janice Zorn; three brothers, Flynn Pert, John Pert and Jerry Davis; and a number of special nieces and nephews, friends, and church family.
