PENNY JORDAN SCOGGINS


COLUMBIA, AL… Penny Pamela Jordan Scoggins, a resident of Columbia, Alabama, passed away Monday night, January 3, 2022, in a Dothan hospital. She was 61.


            No services are planned at this time.


 Contributions in her honor may be made to S.H.A.R.K. in Abbeville, Alabama, P.O. Box 126 Abbeville, Alabama 36310.


            Mrs. Scoggins was born in Blakely, Georgia, to the late Roscoe (Jack) Jordan and Ira Lee Hall Jordan. She was a 1978 Graduate of Blakely High School. She loved being a full-time Grandmother (MeMe) to her grandchildren. She had lived the past twenty years in the Haleburg, Alabama area and was a member of the Haleburg United Methodist Church.


            Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brothers Steve Jordan, Jackie Jordan, and Rickie Jordan.


Leaving to cherish her memories is her husband, Bryant (Eddie) Scoggins; her son, Nakea Hester (Amy); her step-son, David Scoggins (Jessica); her grandchildren, Gaydin Hester, Crager Hester, Memphis Hester, Camlee Hester, Andrew Chadwick, Hunter Chadwick, Emma Sims, Mercedes Scoggins and Brody Payne Scoggins, Madison Redding and Aubrey Redding; her mother-in-law Mattie Scoggins Klink; her sisters-in-law Joyce Jordan and Terri East (Gordon); her several nieces and nephews; and her special canine companions, Daisy and Rocky.
