Phil Fussell of Panama City, FL passed away Monday, December 19, 2011.  He was 65.

           Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, December 23, 2011 at Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel with Rev. Lee Jones officiating.  Burial will be at New Brockton City Cemetery with Searcy Funeral Home directing.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M., Thursday, December 22^nd at the funeral home.

           Phil was preceded in death by his parents, Dr. James A. Fussell and wife, Marie Snellgrove Fussell, a sister, Aurelia Anne Martin, a brother, Tye “Rick” Fussell, a niece, Adelea Ibsen and a nephew, Dean Fussell.

           He is survived by two sons, Joel Fussell, Dothan, AL; Michael Fussell, Atlanta, GA; brother and sister-in-law, Jimmy and Nelwyn Fussell  New Brockton, AL; a sister-in-law, Jill Fussell, Austin, TX;  brother-in-law, Jack Martin, Fitzgerald, GA; several nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
