Philip David Peets passed away on Monday, October 5, 2015 at his home in Enterprise following an extended illness.  He was 60.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 9, 2015 at Open Door Baptist Church with Reverend John McCrummen officiating.  The family will receive friends at the church beginning at 9:00 and continuing until service time.

Philip was born February 19, 1955, in Bronx, New York.  He moved to Enterprise in 1976 when he came to work at Fort Rucker.  He was a Toyota Pro and ASE Master Certified Auto Technician.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey Rene’ and Jean Ruth Bentz Peets.

Survivors include his loving wife, Jean Peets of Enterprise; two children: Lillie Medlock (Terry) of Kinston and Billy Rhoten of Douglas, GA; three grandchildren: Amber Medlock, Ethan Medlock, and Daniel Rhoten; a nephew, Steven David Peets.
