Mr. Philip Howard Moser, 48, a resident of Dothan, passed away Monday, September 25, 2023, at UAB Hospital in Birmingham.

 A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, the family wishes donations be made to Red Mountain Grace Association, 2120 16^th Ave. South, Suite 201, Birmingham, AL, 35205.

 Philip was born January 9, 1975 in Leesburg, VA, to Philip and Doris Moser.  He spent his early years in Williamsport, PA.  Philip graduated from South Williamsport High School in 1994 and was a graduate of the police academy.  He was currently employed as a Captain of the Federal Bureau of Prisons in Marianna, FL.  He was a former member of the SORT (Special Operations Response Team).  Philip enjoyed fishing, cooking, the New York Giants, Notre Dame and spending time with his family and friends.  He was of Catholic faith.

 Survivors include his wife Christina Flynn Moser and 2 daughters Ava Moser and Cora Moser  of Dothan and a son Paul Moser of  Nashua, NH; father Philip (Barbara) Moser and his mother Doris (Gerald) Rishel of Williamsport, PA; his grandmother Caroline Engel; a brother Jason Moser of Williamsport, PA; a sister Dana Weiser of Johnstown, PA; father and mother in law Brian and Michelle Flynn of Dunstable, MA; 3 sisters in law Erica Flynn of Dunstable, MA, Adrea Cardillo, Lake Mary, FL, Jessica Flynn of Salem, NH; 2 brothers in law Robert Flynn of Nashua, NH and John Flynn of Billerica, MA; numerous loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
