Polly Ann Mitchell age 67, a resident of Elba, Alabama passed away Sunday, May 5, 2019 at her home. Funeral services will be held from Hayes Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, May 8, 2019 beginning at 3:00 PM with Rev. Kerry Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow in the Calary Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home. Visitation will be at Hayes Funeral Home on Tuesday evening, May 7th, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

Mrs. Mitchell is survived by Son - Mark Edward (Pamela) Spann, Chancellor, AL, Daughter - Elizabeth (Lee) Snell, Elba, AL, Daughter - Christina Marie Strops, Chancellor, AL, Son - James (Sherry) Mitchell, Elba, AL, and Daughter - Wanda Thomas also of Elba, Alabama. She also leaves behind eleven grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents Flossie Barbaree Richards, and Hayes Richards, husband James Marshall Mitchell, daughter Janice Parrish, along with two sisters, Hazel Mitchell, and Joann Johnson, and her brother Corkey Richards.
