CARROLLTON, GEORGIA. . .Price Hugh Carroll, a resident of Carrollton, Georgia, formerly of Eufaula, Alabama, died early Tuesday morning, December 25, 2018, in the JFK Medical Center, Atlantis, Florida. He was 43.

     Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, December 29, 2018 in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 272 Highway 131, Eufaula, AL 36027, with Bishop Terry Carter officiating. Private graveside services will follow in the Carroll-Duncan-Creel Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 A.M. Saturday in the church sanctuary.

     In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Carroll-Duncan-Creel Cemetery, 646 County Road 67, Clayton, AL 36016.

     Price Carroll was born and raised in Eufaula, Alabama, where he was an Eagle Scout, Troop 14. He was a graduate of Eufaula High School. He also served a full time, two year mission with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter – Day Saints, in the Rochchester, New York Mission. He graduated from Auburn University, Magna Cum Laude, with a Major in Human Development. He went on to receive his law degree from Emory University, where he graduated with honors, and also served as a senior editor for Emory’s International Law Review. Following graduation, Price went to work at Hunton & Williams in Atlanta in its labor and employment practice group. Price was recruited to relocate to Carrollton, Georgia, where he currently was employeed by Smith Conerly LLP.

     Surviving relatives include his wife, Shawn Carroll, Carrollton, GA; two sons, Hugh Carroll  and Emory Carroll, both of Griffin, GA; stepsons,  SN Riley Phillips station in Norfolk, VA and Thatcher Phillips of Carrollton, GA; his parents, Gerald and Gail Price Carroll, Clayton, AL: two sisters, Amy Greene (Heath), Eufaula, AL; and Talace Brown (Thomas), Deatsville, AL; a brother, Jason Carroll (Jennifer), Bend, Oregon.
