CUTHBERT, GA. . .Raymond Floyd Eubanks, a resident of Cuthbert, Georgia, died Monday morning, October 29, 2018, in a Dothan hospital. He was 55.


     Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. (C.D.T.) Wednesday, October 31, 2018, in the Holman-Abbeville Mortuary Chapel with Reverend Larry Sowell officiating. Burial will follow in the Ebenezer Cemetery in Henry County. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 P.M. Wednesday at the mortuary in Abbeville.


     Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 3054 McGehee Road, Montgomery, AL 36111.


     Floyd Eubanks was born and reared in Cuthbert, Georgia and was a honor graduate of Randolph County High School. He was a graduate of Andrew College in Cuthbert and also attended Georgia Southwestern in Americus, Georgia. Floyd was employed by River Valley Ingredients (Tyson) in Cuthbert as a Boiler Operator. He was preceded in death by his father, Benny Eubanks.


     Surviving relatives include his wife, Marsha Diane Cherry Eubanks, Cuthbert, GA; two daughters; his mother, Barbara Howerton Eubanks Mathis (Don), Cuthbert, GA; a brother, Kent Eubanks (Melanie), Macon, GA.; a niece, Makenzie Eubanks; two nephews, Seth Eubanks and Blake Eubanks; a great-niece, Beau Grayson Eubanks; his mother-in-law, Shirley Givens Cherry (Randy Head), Kinsey, AL; a sister-in-law, Karen Goad (Tim), Malvern, AL.
