Date: Services will be held this Sunday, February 27, 2022, at Salem Seminole Baptist Church, 2785 Joel Poole Rd., Donalsonville, GA, 39845. Pastor Jim Peters of Daleville, AL officiating. Family will receive friends during Visitation from 2-3 PM Eastern Standard Time with Funeral Services starting at 3 PM Eastern Standard Time. He will be laid to rest in the family plot of Salem Seminole Baptist Cemetery.

Raymond “Kelly” Robinson, Sr., 80, of Donalsonville, Georgia passed away at his home February 25, 2022. The oldest of 14 children to Paul and Juanita (Poston) Robinson, Kelly grew up a farm boy, only completing the 6th grade having taken on partial responsibility raising his siblings. Still a farming man Kelly met his wife of 57 years, Martha Ellen Ard. They were married on May 29, 1964.
Kelly went down his own path, leaving the farm and spending the entirety of his 48 working years with Bell Frame and Brake in Dothan, AL, working his way up to Front End Alignment Specialist, primarily working on big rigs.
Outside of work Kelly was a family man. He helped raise his two children, Ray Jr. and Barbara, and lead the local Boy Scout Troop 316 for 11 years. When he came home from work, he didn’t care for music much because it would interrupt his Western TV Shows. Anytime music would be played in the house he would turn up the TV. As his son Ray reminisces, nothing beats a winter Sunday afternoon watching Westerns.
Preceding him in death are his parents; brothers Jerry, Jake, John, Toby, Keith and Durwood; and a daughter, Kelly Jean Robinson.
Kelly is survived by his loving wife, Martha Ellen Robinson; children Ray Jr. (Cindy) Robinson and Barbara (Dale) Hobbs; grandchildren Whitney (Blake) Shirah, Emily Robinson (Jade), Sylvie Hobbs (Tania), and Buck (Victoria) Robinson; great-grandchildren Brooklynn, Baylee, and Beau McWaters (their father Byron (Morgan) McWaters), and Kimber Smith; brothers Sonny Robinson of Donalsonville, GA and Larry (Vickie) Robinson; sisters Becky Ard of Dothan, AL, Pauline Kirkland of Donalsonville, GA, Debra (Danny) Love of Colquitt, GA, Ilene Williams of Mayhaw, GA and Regina (Bill) Martin of Sneads, FL; and several nieces and nephews.
