            Mrs. Reathel Mae Drew of Enterprise, AL passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2011 in Enterprise.  She was 75.

            Funeral services will be at 11:00 am Friday, December 9, 2011 at the Sorrells Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Louie Reynolds and Rev. Randy Kelley officiating.  Burial will follow in the Meadowlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday beginning at 9:00 am and continuing until service time. At all other times the family will be at the home of her son, Howard Drew in Enterprise. Flowers will be accepted or contributions could be made to the Westview Baptist Church building fund, 809 Damascus Rd., Enterprise, AL 36330.

Mrs. Drew was born May 14, 1936 in Georgia to the late Howard W. and Maude E. Hawkins Gilpin. She had lived in Enterprise for over 40 years and was a volunteer for Hospice, Enterprise Depot, Senior Friends, the American Cancer Society, and Medical Center Enterprise. She was a member of Westview Baptist Church and also the Enterprise Civitan Club. She was retired from Civil Service at Fort Rucker and had served in the WACS from 1957 to 1959.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David Lamar Drew, and a brother, Truman L. Gilpin.

            Survivors include 2 daughters: Glenda C. Peterson (Tim), Judith A. Bell (Kevin); 1 son, Howard K. Drew (Patsy); 1 brother, William E. Gilpin (Nancy); grandchildren: Timothy and Michael Peterson, David and Dominic Drew, Jessica Prows, Devin Bell; great-grandchildren: William Drew and Tessa Prows; several nieces and nephews.
