Rebecca Alvarado, of Dothan, passed away Monday, September 11, 2023 at Flowers Hospital in Dothan, Al. She was 59 years old.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. in the New Hinson Baptist Church Cemetery, County Road 48, Slocomb, Alabama under the direction of Jimmy Bottoms of Bottoms Garden Chapel Funeral Home, Hartford, Al.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, David Alvarado, Jr and Eliceo Alvarado; an uncle, Ruben Rangel; and a nephew, Anthony Robinson..

Survivors include two daughters, Joann Hurtado and Lesliy Alvarado; one son, Victor Alvarado; three brothers, Thomas Alvarado, Bacilio Alvarado and Billy Joy Alvarado; two sisters, Esperanza Alvarado and Youlanda Alvarado; nine grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
