Mrs. Rebecca Ann Ausley of Samson, AL passed away on Sunday, December 27, 2020 at her home. She was 90 years old.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at Travelers Rest Cemetery with Rev. Randy Kuhn officiating and Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva directing.

Mrs. Ann was born on January 24,1930 in Geneva County, AL to the late Chester Arthur and Jessie Rebecca Mattox Watson.

Mrs. Ann worked with Samson Banking Company for over 45 years. She served on the board of directors and was serving as Vice-President when she retired. Mrs. Ann was a lifelong member of Samson First Baptist Church where she taught the Bethany Sunday School class. She was also a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and served as an administrator of Travelers Rest Cemetery for many years.

Flowers are omitted.  Contributions in her memory can be sent to Travelers Rest Cemetery.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Hubert Ausley; one son, Charles Edward Ausley; and one daughter, Jane Ann Ausley Sanders.

She is survived by four grandchildren, Charles Anderson “Andy” Ausley of Alpharetta, GA, Becki Sanders Warren (Derek) of Samson, AL, Emily Ausley VanScyoc (Chad) of Headland, AL, and Beth Ann Sanders Messina (Todd) of Tuscaloosa, AL; six great grandchildren, Jessie Warren, Derek Allen Warren, Jacob Waters, Davis Waters, Anthony Messina, and Annamarie Messina.

The family would like to thank Jessica and Caitlyn Brandenburg, Frosty Johnson, Charlotte McCollough and Carolyn Watson for their love and care shown toward Mrs. Ann.
