Regina Espersen Hinton of Geneva, AL passed away on Saturday, March 9, 2024. She was 75 years old.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 22, 2024, at the Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo, AL with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva, AL directing.

Regina was born in El Paso, TX on January 7, 1949, to the late William Espersen and Nancy Deluca Copeland. She enjoyed reading and making arts and crafts.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Wayne Hinton.

She is survived by one daughter, Brandi Shirah (Michael) of Geneva, AL; one son, Wayne Hinton (Vanessa) of Auburn, AL; five grandchildren, Cassie, Spencer, Johnathan, Nash, and Motley; two sisters, Cyndie Swofford and Denise Gibson; one brother, Michael Espersen; and several nieces and nephews.
