Rev. Ralph Estes, 81, of Ft. Gaines, GA passed away on Saturday, May 21, 2022, at his residence surrounded by his family. Memorials services will be conducted on Wednesday, May 25, 2022, at 2:00 PM at the Ft. Gaines Baptist Church with Rev. Jeff Hines officiating. The family will receive friends at the Church 30 minutes before the service.

Ralph was born on August 26, 1940, in Miami, FL the son of the late Howard Silvey and Ruth Mowery Estes. He attended Emory University for 2 years and attended the Ft. Gaines Baptist. When his health started fellin he retired as a Baptist Minister after serving the Pine Level Baptist Church in Clio, AL, East Vernon Baptist Church in Lagrange, GA, Devotie Experiment Baptist Church, Mt. Arvitt Baptist Church in Blakely, GA, Mt. Gilead Baptist Church in Ft. Gaines and finally the Shorterville Baptist Church in Shorterville, AL.

Survivors include his wife Rachel H. Estes of Ft. Gaines, his only daughter, Valerie (Andy) Harpe of Abbeville, AL, a brother, Bill Estes of Pensacola, FL, grandchildren, Brittany Roberson and Ashlyn Roberson, 5 step-children, 2 step-grandchildren and 2 step-great grandchildren.
