HILTON, GEORGIA. . .Rhonda Joyce Hilton McArdle, a resident of Hilton, Georgia, died early Saturday evening, August 27, 2022, at her home. She was 76.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. (CDT), Monday, August 29, 2022, in the Holman Headland Mortuary Chapel with Pastor Charles Bostick officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Zion Methodist Church Cemetery, near Columbia. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 P.M. Monday at the mortuary in Headland.
Mrs. McArdle was born and reared in Hilton, Georgia, daughter of the late James Ritchie Hilton and Alline Richardson Hilton. She lived most of her lifetime in Hilton but formerly lived in Columbia. Mrs. McArdle was preceded in death by three sisters, Sarah Gesells, Rebecca Hilton and Judy Cliatt, and four brothers, Richard Hilton, James Hilton, David Hilton and John Hilton.
Surviving relatives include her husband, Albert Vernon “Butch” McArdle, a daughter, Michelle Chambliss (Patrick), a son, Michael McArdle (Lana), all of Hilton, GA; two sisters, Mary Marshall, Pensacola, FL and Cathy Cobb (Floyd), Hilton, GA; a brother, Danny Hilton; four grandchildren, Nick Rapozo, Erik Rapozo, Porter Brackin and Isaiah Chambliss; numerous nieces and nephews.
