Rhonda Kay Wheeler Galloway of Geneva, AL passed away at Southeast Health on Tuesday, August 15, 2023. She was 56 years old.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 18, 2023, in the chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home in Geneva, AL with Rev. Red Coleman officiating. Burial will follow in the Geneva City Cemetery with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva, AL directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, August 17, 2023, from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m.

Rhonda was born in Samson, AL on June 14, 1967, to Dallas William and Mary Elizabeth Chalker Wheeler. Rhonda was affectionately known as “Nonny” by those who loved her most. She loved her family and appreciated all the love and care that they provided for her. Simply put, her family was her heart.   

She was preceded in death by her father, Dallas William Wheeler; and one sister, Sandra Free.

She is survived by her husband, Marcus John Galloway of Geneva, AL; one son who was her greatest gift, Marcus William Galloway of Geneva, AL; mother, Mary Wheeler of Geneva, AL; two sisters, Teresa White (Steve) of Geneva, AL, and her twin sister, Wanda Harrell (Mike) of Geneva, AL; one brother, Kevin Wheeler (Ashley) of Hartford, AL; and many special nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank Southeast Health for the care that they provided. The family would also like to thank Amie, her home health nurse and Robyn Ellenburg who helped her with so much.
