Richard Eugene Davis of Daleville passed away Saturday, March 28, 2015. He was 35 years old.


Funeral services will be held at 1pm Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at Bottoms Garden Chapel Funeral Home in Hartford. Burial will follow in Pleasant Home Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Jimmy Bottoms of Bottoms Garden Chapel Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends from 6pm to 8pm Monday, March 30, 2015 at the funeral home.


Richard was employed by the city of Hartford for 10 years. He loved the outdoors and had recently taken up hog hunting, which he really enjoyed.


He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Rex Riley of Hartford and George Davis of Geneva; step-father, Dane Carroll of Slocomb.


Survivors include his wife, Terry Davis of Daleville; his daughters, Rachel Davis, Abigail Davis, Mackenzie Marsh, Ci Ci Crawford, all of Daleville; his sons, Wyatt Marsh of Brooksville, FL., Jessie McCaslin, Dylan McCaslin, both of Daleville; his mother, Janet Carroll of Slocomb; his father, Hank Davis of Hartford; his sister, Jennifer Carroll (Kyle Doyle) of Slocomb; his brother, Marcus Carroll (Ashley) of Slocomb; his grandmothers, Mary Riley of Hartford and Inez Cochran of Geneva; his great-grandmother, Lois Moore of Geneva; his nephew, Riley Doyle; his close friends, Mike and Tina Storey of Clayhatchee.


Serving as pallbearers: Joey Dady, James Quick, Greg Hatcher, Allen Langford, Marcus Carroll and Wyatt Marsh.
