RICHARD  SHANE  HENDERSON

ECHO COMMUNITY. . .Richard Shane Henderson, a resident of the Echo Community of Dale County, died early Saturday morning, September 22, 2018, in a Dothan hospital. He was 39.

            Memorial Services will be held at 11:30 A.M. Tuesday, September 25, 2018, in the Holman-Headland Mortuary Chapel with Reverend Phil Craddock officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 until 11:30 A.M. Tuesday at the mortuary.

            In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Mission of Hope Ministries, P.O. Box 8504, Mobile, AL 36689.

            Shane Henderson was born in Ozark and lived in the Echo Community most of his lifetime. He served his country in the Army National Guard in the Troy unit. Shane graduated from high school in Junction City, Kansas. He was formerly employed as Manager with Trailer World in Troy. In later years, he was self-employed as a carpenter and painter. Shane was a loving uncle, brother and son. He was preceded in death by a sister, Tenisa Marie Henderson and his step-father, Richard Nowland.

            Surviving relatives include his daughter, Elizabeth Henderson, Orlando, FL; his mother, Darlene Sullivant Nowland, Baker, FL; his father, Ricky Henderson, Echo Community; four sisters, Ranee Henderson, Skipperville; Ivy Nowland, Dana Nowland and Melissa Nowland, all of Wisconsin; a brother, Nickolas Nowland, Baker, FL.
