HEADLAND, AL… Rita Kay Doepker Greer, a resident of Headland, Alabama, passed away Sunday morning, November 12, 2023, at her home. She was 62.

          No services are planned at this time.

          Ms. Greer was born in Hampton, Virginia to the late Charles E. Doepker and Bonnie L. Patton Doepker. She had a business degree but chose to be a homemaker to raise her children. She had previously lived in Akron, Ohio before moving to Headland, Alabama thirteen years ago.

          Leaving to cherish her memories are husband, Russell Bolen; her daughter, Erin Grantham and her family; her son, Chad Greer and his family; her good friends Elaine & George Prather and Pam Lipscomb (Heath Bond).
