ROBERT  DAVID  BOSTICK

 

HEADLAND. . .Robert David Bostick, a resident of County Road 45, Headland, died Sunday morning, January 1, 2012. He was 56.

            Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A. M. Tuesday, January 3, 2012, in the Holman-Headland Mortuary Chapel with Reverend Tom Chestnut officiating. Burial will follow in the Tolbert Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 A. M. Tuesday at the mortuary.

            Memorial contributions may be made to the Tolbert Baptist Cemetery Fund, c/o Jolaine Masters, 8705 County Road 99, Newville, AL. 36353.

            Mr. Bostick was born and reared in the Tolbert community of Henry County where he lived most of his lifetime. He served his country in the U. S. Navy during the Vietnam War. Mr. Bostick was a member of the Balkum Baptist Church. He was employed by Trinity Trucking Company of Louisville, AL. as a truck driver. Mr. Bostick was preceded in death by his father, John Robert Bostick, his mother, Janie Irene Parmer Bostick and a sister, Kathy Bostick Peterson.

            Surviving relatives include three sisters, Gwen Bostick Burke and husband, Earl; Roberta Bostick Edmondson and husband, John, all of Headland; and Mary Bostick Peterman, Dothan; a brother, Keith Bostick, Headland; a brother-in-law, Pete Peterson and wife, Melinda, Abbeville; several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
