Robert Joseph Barney, Sr. passed away on Friday, July 23, 2021. He was 47 years old.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 29, 2021 in Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery in Kinston, Alabama with Pastor Davis officiating and under the direction of Jimmy Bottoms of Bottoms Garden Chapel Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at Bottoms Garden Chapel Funeral Home in Geneva from 9:30-10:00 a.m. on Thursday.

He is survived by 5 children, Robert Barney, Jr. (Ashlyn), Leeanna Forehand (Stephen), Kayla Palmore (Troy), Korie Barney, and Kasi Barney; 5 siblings, Tim Barney (Lucretia), Kimberly Pokorny, Chuck Barney (Robin), Tom Barney (Michelle), and Melissa (Brad) Stout; 8 grandchildren, Stephen Jr., Emaliah, Leviticus, Carson, Daytona, Raelyn, Madilyn, Rylen, and several nieces and nephews.
