Robert “RT” Bland of Enterprise, AL passed away Saturday, December 9, 2023 at his home.  He was 66.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December, 12, 2023 from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory.  Funeral Services will be held at a later date in Bowling Green, KY, with burial at Green River Union Cemetery in Bowling Green, KY.

Mr. Bland retired from the United States Army after 15 years of service. After retirement, he worked and retired from Utility trailers with 30 years of service.          

Mr. Bland was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Francis Bland, three brothers; William Edward Bland, Wilmoth Clayton Howard, Michael Anthony “Tony” Bland, his fraternal and maternal grandparents, one aunt; Carolyn S. Justice. 

Survivors include his wife; Michelle Bland, Enterprise, AL; two daughters; Toni M. and April M. Bland, Enterprise, AL; one brother; Richard Dewayne Bland (Sharon) Bowling Green, KY; sister; Juanita Faye Tanner (Gary) Bowling Green, KY; one grandson; Robert Dale Irby Jr.; granddaughters Skylar Nicole Irby, Tayler Marie Elwell; special friends; Jerry and Arleen Rone & family and Melissa Hankins & family.  Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
