Rodney Earl Rudd, a resident of Gordon, died Monday, December 5, 2022 at Southeast Health Medical Center. He was 69.

Memorial services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 9, 2022 at Glover Funeral Home with Pastor Troy West officiating and Glover Funeral Home director.

Rodney was born October 16, 1953 in Dothan to A. B. and Louise Rudd and lived most of his life in Houston County. He was a graduate of Dothan High School and attended Montevallo University where he received his Bachelor’s degree in business. Mr. Rudd was employed as an airline pilot for most of his life and later worked as a truck driver with Roehl Transport, Inc.

Survivors include his wife, Connie Rudd of Gordon; a son, Allen Rudd of Gordon; a brother, Tommy Rudd of Cottonwood and a sister, Janice Stratton of Georgia.
