Mr. Rodney Glenn Griswold of Enterprise, Alabama, passed away Thursday, October 20, 2022, at Flowers Hospital.  He was 62.                                                                                                                                                                      

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 23, 2022, at Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory in Enterprise with Reverend Corbin Griffin and Reverend Alan Richard officiating.  Burial will follow at Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery in Enterprise with Sorrells Funeral Home directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at 1:00 p.m. and continuing until the time of service. 

Rodney was born June 20, 1960, to the late Henry Royce and Alta Faye Griswold.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Edward and Mattie Lee Redd of Dallas, Texas, and Preston and Ben Griswold of Enterprise; and his father-in-law, Rayvon Thrash.  Rodney enjoyed so many things in life including cutting and baling hay, working in his yard, Auburn football, and Dallas Cowboys football.  He was a devoted father and grandfather, and he was always willing to help anyone in need. 

Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Cynthia Griswold; children, Brittney Day (Donny) of Enterprise, and Shane Griswold (Dannley Mock) of Coffee Springs; mother-in-law, Patricia McDaniel of Wetumpka; siblings, Regena Adams (Wayne) and Reggie Griswold (Phyllis), both of Enterprise; six grandchildren, Gracie Harrison, Breleigh Bradshaw, Taylor Day, Slayton Griswold, Letti Griswold, and Laken Griswold; and numerous nieces and nephews.
