Mr. Rodney Price of Geneva, Alabama passed away, Tuesday, October 20, 2020, at the age of 75.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 23, 2020 in the chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home in Geneva with Rev. Teddy Ward officiating. Burial will follow in the Friendship Cemetery with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday beginning at 12:30 p.m.

Rodney was born February 7, 1945 in Enterprise, Alabama to the late A.D. and Ruth Anthony Price. Rodney was a member of the Geneva High School Class of 1963.  He owned and operated Rodney Price Motor Company and Price’s Diner for many years. He was well known for coaching youth “Pee Wee” football in his younger years.  In his spare time, he enjoyed flying his airplane and traveling. Mr. Price was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Loretta Price of Geneva, AL; three sons,  Randall Price, Dewayne Price (Tillie) and Travis Tice (Debbie) all of Geneva, AL; two daughters, Amanda Lay (Greg) of Chancellor, AL and Tammy Fulford (Kenny) of Hartford, AL ; 11 grandchildren, Andrew Price (Hannah) of Geneva, AL , EDee Price Mitchell (Adam) of Huntsville, AL, Jonathan Price (Tiffany) of Geneva, AL, Nora Price of Geneva, AL, Michaela Johnson of Kentucky, Megan Tice of Geneva, AL, Amber Mock (Pepper) of Samson, AL, Jordan Arnold of Geneva, AL, Lindsey Lay of Geneva, AL, Kevin Fulford (Amber) of Cowarts, AL and Adam Fulford of Hartford, AL; and nine great-grandchildren.
