Roger Dell Dean, a resident of Midland City, AL and Cheyenne, WY passed away on Thursday, May 31, 2012, at his residence in Cheyenne, WY after a brief illness. He was 57.


Memorial services to be announced at a later time.


Mr. Dean was born in 1954 in Houston County, AL and he lived the early years of his life in Pinkard area. Mr. Dean spent most of his life as a welder. Mr. Dean enjoyed spending his winters in Midland City, AL and his summers in Cheyenne, WY. Mr. Dean loved his family and especially cherished spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father Governor Dean, Brother Governor Wayne Dean and grandson Luke Dean.


Survivors include his mother Fay (Edward) Jackson Midland City, AL, two daughters and sons-in-law, Sandra (Jeff) Bonds, Dothan, AL, Crissie Jo (Mario) Escamilla, Cheyenne,WY. His son and fiancé, Christopher (Pam) Dean, Dothan, AL, two stepdaughters Kelsie Hughes, Cave Creek, AZ, and Crystal Campbell Cheyenne, WY. His grandchildren, Christopher Cody Dean, Dothan, AL, Bruce Mitchell, Dothan, AL , Bailey Mitchell, Dothan, AL, Abraham Escamilla, Avriella Escamilla, Jaelynn Escamilla, all of Cheyenne, WY. Step grandchildren Presslie Hughes, Cave Creek, AZ, Abigail Campbell and Aiden Campbell both of Cheyenne, WY and Bo Bonds, Dothan, AL. His sister and brother-in-law Tammy (Chet) Exum, Pinkard, AL. Brother Mark Jackson and his girlfriend Renae Douglas of Midland City. Niece Mandy (John) Bond Hartford, AL. Great-nieces Ariel Parker and Lacey Parker, Hartford, AL.
