Mr. Ronald John Vasko, a resident of Eufaula, Alabama passed away Saturday, August 28, 2021, at Medical Center Barbour. He was 71 years old.

 

Memorial Services will be held Saturday, September 11, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at Parkview Baptist Church with Reverend Mike Fortenberry officiating and Glover Funeral Home of Eufaula directing.

 

Ronald was born June 14, 1950, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania the son of William and Dorothy Vasko. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, where he majored in Electrical Engineering. He retired after 30 years as a bus driver for the Port Authority. Ronald was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and absolutely loved people, he was the life of the party. Ronald attended Parkview Baptist Church.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents.

 

Survivors include is loving wife of 15 years, Jerry Shelley Vasko of Eufaula; two daughters, Misty Lewis of Kittanning, PA and Shelley Bunyard (Dan) of Sunbury, OH; four grandchildren, Taran Lewis, Cameron Morgano, Shannon Bunyard, and Nicholas Bunyard; one great-granddaughter, Alaydrea Delp.

 

In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital-501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
