Ronald (Ronny) E. Fortson passed unexpectedly on January 9, 2017, in Panama City, Fl.  He was 73 years old. He was born July 26, 1943 to the late Eddie and Gladys Fortson of Dothan, AL. Ronny was a Vietnam veteran and retired from the maritime industry.

Survivors include his loving wife, Alma, and two children, Angela and Jesse, all of Panama City Beach. Other survivors include two sisters, Rhonda Aplin (Lamar), Iris Williford (Freddy), both of Dothan and one brother, Bruce Fortson (Sharon) of Colquitt, Ga. as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
