Ronald Talmadge “Runt” Williams of Kinston, AL passed away at his home on Saturday, February 24, 2024. He was 80.

Graveside services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, February 26, 2024, at the Samson First Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. John Daniel Parker  officiating and Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday beginning at 10:00 a.m. and continuing until 11:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers the family request memorial that contributions be made to the Samson First Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery Fund 14039 West State Hwy 52, Samson, AL 36477.

Mr. Williams was born in Geneva County, AL on August 13, 1943, to the late Drayfus Lee and Lucy Jay Williams.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one brother, Billy Ray Williams and one sister, Johnnie Faye Avant.

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 59 years, Jonnie Marian Parker Williams of Kinston, AL; two sons, Drayfus “Dray” Lee Williams (Tori) and Ronald “Ron” Dennis Williams (Sara); five grandchildren, Caroline Carter (Tanner), Haley Ellis (Zach), Eli Williams, Seth Williams, and Isabelle Williams; three great grandchildren, Tate Carter, Tucker Carter, and Baylor Ellis; one sister-in-law, Peggy Williams.

Serving as pallbearers will be Dray Williams, Ron Williams, Tanner Carter, Zach Ellis, Eli Williams, and Seth Williams.
