Rosa Holley Milton went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, August 29, 2021.
Funeral services will be held 11am on Thursday, September 2, 2021 with Rev. Charles Goldsmith officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10am until service time.
Rosa was born on May 29, 1927. After moving to Douglasville, Georgia, in 2012, Rosa and her daughter, Winona, were constant companions. They enjoyed Sunday School together and worship service, shopping trips and choosing flowers for Rosa’s gardens. Rosa was an absolute joy to be with and the two of them would always sing hymns together every chance they got. They became best friends!
She was a shining example of what a Christ centered life should be. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, James W Milton. She always praised God even when she battled health crises.
She is survived by her daughter, Winona Milton Garrison (Jack) and grandson Blake Justin Wadsworth. She has many nieces, nephews and friends that think the world of Rosa
