Rosemary L. Anderson, age 89 of Dothan, Alabama and Silver City, New Mexico went to be with the Lord and to join her late husband early Thursday morning, March 19, 2020. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who instilled the values of hard work, honesty, and integrity in her children and always lived those same values.
The family plans a memorial in Silver City, New Mexico at a later time when all her children can attend together where she will be laid to rest next to her late husband “Andy.”
Rosemary was born on September 9, 1930 in Muskegan, Michigan to Ralph and Vada Campbell. She met and married her husband of 61 years, Robert “Andy” Anderson, in California after he returned from serving with the Marine Corps in Korea in 1953. She raised three children and was a very gracious and resilient woman.
Rosemary was preceded in death by her parents Ralph and Vada Campbell, her husband Robert Anderson, and her brother Eugene Campbell.
Rosemary’s memory will be cherished by her children: Buck (Tracy) Anderson, Becky (Dave) Ghostley, and Joel (Michele) Anderson; grandchildren: A.J., Matthew, Jesse, Logan, Charlee, Dustin, and Hannah; her dear sister Patricia; sister-in-law Nina; and a host of loving family members and friends.
