Ross Rutledge Jones, age 54, of Enterprise, AL, passed away, Monday, June 12, 2023 at his home.

Private services will be held at a later date.

Ross served in the Marine Corp and later medically retired from the United States Army with 15 years of service.  He was a true adventurer, a compassionate person who loved animals and meeting new people.  He never met a stranger.  Ross loved riding his Harley Davidson and had a passion for cross country off-roading on his Toyota FJ.  He was also a Ham Radio enthusiast.

He is preceded in death by his mother Ellen Carey Jones.

Survivors include his wife, Desiree Jones, Enterprise, AL; daughter, Jessie Iona Jones, Enterprise, AL; three sons, Jonathon Stevens (Charlene), Fort Leonard Wood, MO; Gavin Dowling (Savanna), New Brockton, AL; Aaron Jones; seven grandchildren, Dayton, Alexis, Lilly, Zane, Preston, Hudson and Saylor; father, Melvin Riege; two sisters, Joy Vann, Rehobeth, AL; Melanie; brother, Rafe Jones.
