Mr. Roy L. Habron, a life-long resident of Ashford, passed away Sunday, February 7, 2021 after a brief illness.


 Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at Ward Wilson Funeral Home with Dr. David Baker and Reverend Tim Wheeler officiating. Burial will follow in Enterprise Baptist Church Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.


 The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday, February 10, 2021, one hour prior to the service.


 Mr. Habron was born in Ashford, AL on January 3, 1931 to the late Bob and Jewel Habron. He joined the United States Army where he honorably served his country. He owned H&H Heating and Cooling. Mr. Habron enjoyed hunting and fishing in his spare time. Mr. Habron will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.


 Mr. Habron is preceded in death by his parents, Bob and Jewell Habron; a sister Dorothy Hickman; a brother-in-law Dewey Hickman; and a sister-in-law Joyce Hataway.


 Survivors include his loving wife of 64 years Bobbie Habron; sons, Ken (Tracey) Habron, and Glenn Habron (Augusta Welch); grandchildren, Perry Andrews, Jacie Jenks (Chase), Allyson Habron (Jason Campbell), and Krista Habron; great-grandchildren, Samuel Andrews, Saylor Kate Habron, and Banks Habron; brother-in-law Bill Hataway; and former daughter-in-law Jane Exum Floyd and several other relatives and friends.


 In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Mr. Habron’s name to the Cottonwood Senior Center or Enterprise Baptist Church.
