DYERSBURG, TENNESSEE…Roy S. Money, a resident of Dyersburg, Tennessee and a former resident of the Tumbleton Community of Henry County, Alabama, died early Monday afternoon, March 9, 2020, at his home. He was 84.

     Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Friday, March 13, 2020, in the Holman-Abbeville Mortuary Chapel with Reverend George Bryan officiating. Burial will follow in the Pilgrim’s Rest Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery, near Abbeville. The family will receive friends from 11:30 until 1:00 P.M.  Friday in the mortuary chapel.

     Mr. Money was born in Henry County, Alabama, son of the late Thomas Stewart Money and Donie Lee Money. He lived in Elgin, Illinois and the Tumbleton Community of Henry County, AL before moving to Dyersburg, TN in 2013. Mr. Money retired as a Truck Driver from Vandenburg Foods of Elgin, IL. He was preceded in death by all of his sisters and brothers.

     Surviving relatives include his wife, Loretta Fay Henson Money; five daughters, Joyce Williams (Marty) and Danielle Money, all of Carpentersville, IL; Sheila Yants (Van),  Kristin Miller, and Amber Money all of Dyersburg, TN; two sons, Rick Money (Valerie), Carpentersville, IL; and Bradley Money (Donna), Effingham, IL; and Gary Krause (Julie), Crystal Lake, IL; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
